 BRAKE PATTERNS:

There are 2 different pattern sets. One adjusts the intensity of the running light (steady-on when bike is on). The other designates what the light will do when the brake is applied. The intensity & pattern are set to FMVSS compliant patterns as default, but can be changed any time by the user. This allows you to set the tail light (running) intensity higher than normal (we recommend) so people see your ASSets. Most preferred patterns for brake light operation flash & then go steady. The others provide for more attention-getting, but their use is at your own risk…. Check your local laws before using them.

One nice thing is that our light allows you to change the pattern anytime! If you’re in a parade or group ride and want that extra attention, change it to a flashing only pattern, then when the activity is over, change it back– without removing the lens!!

 Our LED's

Our lights use the latest LED technology (and we mean it), not outdated or generic LED's like everyone else. The patented design & optics produce the brightest brake light you've ever seen from far away! No other brake/tail light combines as many features and intensities as ours! Video and pictures cannot replace seeing-for-yourself. Stop by an authorized dealer to see the display (you can't miss it if they have one!). If you have a favorite HD store that doesn't carry our lights already, ASK THEM TO!

Our lights ARE SAE/DOT Compliant. All lights come default out of the box in SAE/DOT (FMVSS) mode to be legal in all 50 states (& Canada) to emmulate the stock light. SAE actually has a MAX intensity (not just MIN), in order to meet this level the light is dimmer in these modes. Our lights have different intensity modes not just in the brake stage, but also for running, so you can pick the one you like the best! All other modes EXCEED SAE/DOT Compliance and are easily changed anytime to meet riding conditions. While most states are fairly lenient towards extra rear visibility, it is your responsibility to check your local laws when using these other modes.

While there are Federal exemptions for modulated headlights, they haven't added anything for taillights (rear collisions account for approx 7% of motorcycle accidents). FMVSS standards have such low levels that are considered compliant (that's why other companies can sell those hard-to-see in daylight LED replacements) it's no wonder why there aren't more rear-end collisions with only one tail/brake light on a bike- especially in inclement weather. We've taken a whole different approach. We give you the choice on how you want to be seen. From intensities to patterns that can easily be changed in seconds. No switches under the seat or having to remove the lens to change modes. All our products have been field tested for years and actually withstand the requirements of Emergency Vehicles! What better to cover your ASSets!
